Yapeal regrets to announce that Thomas Hilgendorff, Co-Founder and currently Chief Commercial Officer, will leave Yapeal effective February 1, 2024.
Thomas Hilgendorff has been one of the defining figures of the company since Yapeal's founding in 2018 and has made a significant contribution during this time to obtaining the FINMA FinTech license, positioning the company as an emerging Swiss digital wallet, and most recently to the strategic realignment towards embedded finance solutions for corporate clients.
"After careful consideration, I have decided, that it is the right time for me to pursue new ventures outside of Yapeal and to spend more time with my family, following the intense years building the company. With the successful repositioning in the B2B business, the recruitment of Michael Eidel as the new CEO, and the further development of our excellent team, the foundation for the future has been successfully established. I wish the team every success for the future", says Thomas Hilgendorff.
